Risk Register

A risk register, also called a risk log, is a centralized repository, master document, and tool that should be created at the early stages of any business venture or project. It is a cornerstone of a well-developed risk management plan that helps stakeholders track and address problems and threats as they occur. In most cases, project stakeholders will share the responsibility of the risk register throughout the project. Ongoing management of the risk register allows these stakeholders to identify new project risks and formulate a plan of action to resolve them. Without a risk management platform, many risk registers are tracked and presented manually through spreadsheets.
