Issue/Findings Management

Issue/findings management is the process of documenting and tracking issues and findings that are identified during an audit, regulatory examination, or as part of an organization’s ongoing GRC program. Managing issues and findings involves documenting and monitoring the discoveries, categorizing their priority, identifying the root cause, and assigning or identifying the issue owner. Issue/findings management can be handled with a GRC platform that provides role-based solutions for audit, risk management, IS and compliance and tracking. In many cases, however, organizations resort to monitoring and tracking findings using manual methods.
