Enterprise Policy Management

Enterprise Policy Management (EPM) is a framework designed to allow for scalable delivery and management of an organization’s policies. EPM provides the organization with the ability to enforce application-agnostic, enterprise-wide enforcement policies. Administrators have the ability to establish a single, company-wide configuration while still maintaining granular control over individual machines within the network. Policy management tools also allow administrators to establish a whitelist of applications that have permission to run; these whitelists can block all non-authorized applications from running. Alternatively, with EMP, administrators can create a blacklist of applications that are not allowed to run, such as games, peer-to-peer file sharing and malware.
